If you haven’t seen Jennifer Maestre’s pencil art, take a look! It’s definitely NOT “drawing with pencils”! These are the kind of sculptures I want to touch and avoid at the same time.

What do you think? Have you seen any other cool art made from something ordinary (maybe gummi bears)?

This is fantastic! It could be used as a developmental tool to show people how little bits of ordinary things, when combined, can produce an elaborate whole!

Aarti, For ‘how to do it’, see Jennifer’s web site at URL=http://www.jennifermaestre.com/about.php but I suggest you don’t just copy her technique. Modify it so it’s your own art. I’m going to try something with different sizes of copper pipe and copper rods and sew them together with copper wire. I may try adding small blinking LEDs.
