Did you see this article in the NOW section of the Columbus Dispatch yesterday? It’s all about how libraries are offering new things such as videogames, snacks, activities, and homework help:
Wait a minute: Video games? Food? Fun?
At the library?
The place where, supposedly, bespectacled grannies shush talkers; the books are buried in dark, dusty aisles; and the general atmosphere is assumed to be, well, dull?
“People think libraries are boring,” said Andrew, of Hilliard. “But there’s a lot of variety here. I think it’s pretty awesome.”
Here at the Westerville Public Library, be sure to check out our calendar of events for upcoming videogame tournaments, book clubs, crafts, and more! (Hint: We’ve got our first Guitar Hero tournament tomorrow!)
And if there’s anything else you’d like to see, leave a comment and let me know!

I think that it would be cool if during the DS thing in july there would be tounaments set up for certain DS games
that have realy good multiplayer.Such as mario cart, metroid prime hunters, and pokemon diamond and pearl (just to name a few).

But for pokemon there would have to be diferent tounaments for diferent levels
