Did you see any of the Grammys last night??
The winners are posted on Yahoo music in case, like me, you did not stay up that late.
Here at the library, you can reserve all the good stuff!

Gnarls Barkley – St. Elsewhere (Nominee – Album of the Year)
John Mayer – Continuum (Nominee – Album of the Year)
Red Hot Chili Peppers – Stadium Arcadium (Nominee – Album of the Year)
Justin Timberlake – FutureSex/LoveSounds (Nominee – Album of the Year)
I just saw this article about Disney Channel’s hopeful follow-up to High School Musical. Whether you loved or hated HSM, you will recognize curly-haired Corbin Bleu as Izzy, a young boxer who finds he digs the competitive double Dutch in his neighborhood. Of course his dad’s not too happy (he wants him to become a boxing champ)…and of course there’s a hint of romance with his double Dutch teammate, Mary.
Since I just posted about how skateboarding’s not just for guys, I thought this would be a good follow-up. Jumping rope — it’s not just for girls!
And *just in case* you were wondering, production on High School Musical 2 is set to begin soon.
Moving Elvis content online should be easy; making Elvis cool again will be more difficult. After all, for most kids, Elvis is the music of their parents’ — or grandparents’ — generation.
Is it possible to make Elvis cool again? Or is he still cool?
Or should I ask, is it possible to reinvent yourself online — even if you’re dead??
