Recite a Gorilla poem.
I am big, dark and hairy and the thing that I like to do best –
Is to look all ferocious and scary, while pounding my giant big chest!
What am I?
Tell a Gorilla joke.
Knock, knock. / Gorilla / Gorilla me a hamburger, I’m hungry!
Knock, knock. / Police / Police stop telling me knock-knock jokes!
Do the Tarzan’s Thymus Tap breathing exercise: (p. 36)
Start in mountain and jump feet apart.
Make two fists, take a deep breath in and pound your chest.
Howl, yowl & yodel.
Do the Untying the Knots warm-up exercise. (p. 44)
Squeeze your hands into fists, and your feet up tight.
Scrunch up your neck, back and shoulders.
Now loosen up each part, one at a time.
Then, shake your whole body like jelly!
Shake all over to get nicely and loose and jiggly.
Now, reach down to the floor in a forward bend.
Take a deep breath in, then blow all your air back out.
Take another deep breath in and sway side to side while blowing all your air back out.
