Your Most Important School Supply: a Library Card

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

You’ve bought him the new sneakers and the lunch box too, but does your child have the most important school supply–his library card?

A Westerville Library card is free and available to all Ohio residents. With a library card, your child is not only prepared to check out books, but she may also use the computers in our technology centers, have free access to our homework help center and  online databases and even have her library materials delivered right to her Westerville school by our Library Link program and much more!

Besides modeling good reading habits, providing your child with a library card and access to the library is a great way to show him that your family values reading, learning and sharing what the library has to offer.

Get a library card today and help start your child on the path of life-long learning.
