Walden Pond’s Legacy: Books About Thoreau for Children

On this day in 1847, Henry David Thoreau left his years of relative isolation at Walden Pond behind and wrote about his examined life.  We are still enjoying his works today as adults and as children….pick up a graphic novel or picture book about the man who “went to the woods… to live deliberately” and learn why his story still resonates today.
