This will definitely be something we will take full advantage of...and it will be nice to be able to come to the library after Lunch on Sundays and then go to Church on Sunday Evenings!! Thank You Westerville Library for restoring those Hours on Sunday!!! We Love the Westerville Library, and we are SOOOO EXCITED to have the Sunday Hours coming back!!! The first time my children and I walked into Westerville Public Library we thought we walked into an exclusive club. The kids love trips to the library and are excited to hang out, search for books, check out books with their own cards and of course take over the video game room. Since obtaining my library card, I have checked out 445 books from the library. Not having the time to fulfill my quest for reading while teaching and rearing a family, I am forever grateful for this wonderful organization now that I have the time to spend with my reading pursuits. I have found the library to be very efficient in every aspect of my working with them---the ease of locating books on the internet, reserving them, the short turnaround time from requesting them to having them made available to me, and the quality of their serving me upon arriving at the library to check them out. I so appreciate the efforts they utilize in locating books for me from other libraries when they cannot fulfill my request from their library. I am totally amazed each time I visit the library to pick up my requested books or to return them at the at the amount of people using the library. We are very fortunate to have this library, and I would highly encourage everyone to support this levy. Most of our exterior lights are on a dusk to dawn setting. I will have the settings set to see if that is the problem. I will also check to make sure the dusk to dawn is not faulty. This gives the misconception that the library must have plenty of money if it cannot be bothered to make sure the outside lights, like the lamp near the reservation window are "on" when they clearly should not be. I pointed this out to multiple staff BEFORE our last levy...issue still observed last week. Over the years I have pointed out repeatedly about one or more outdoor lights being “on” during daylight hours.
